EVE Cost

Eve currently costs €14,95 / $14.95 / £7.75 a month (however the first monthly payment is a one time fee of €19,95 / $19.95 / £14.90) (the European cost includes VAT).[87] Like other MMOGs, the cost can be reduced by paying for larger subscription intervals. Players can pay via online payment services or by mail order. The mail order costs more than online payment, though the large subscription discount still applies.

It is also possible to pay for a subscription through the purchase of GTCs (Game Time Codes) through independent retailers for real money[88] or in-game using ISK (in-game currency).[89][90] The latter method allows relatively advanced players to play the game without paying real money - a player may buy a GTC for real money and then sell it to another player in-game for ISK. The system is officially and securely supported by CCP[91] and is monitored through the Timecode Bazaar forum.

GTCs come in 30 day, 50 day, 90 day and 100 day increments, and are treated like normal subscriptions in every way. 30 and 90 day time codes are most often issued in electronic format for resale, 50 and 100 day codes are purchased directly from the Official Eve Online Store. Cards purchased through online resellers are usually delivered through email for immediate use, while codes issued through the Eve Online store are issued via postal mail. There are no distinguishing differences in functionality between digital and hard-copy codes, both provide a specified amount of game time, are entered into the same account section, and can be exchanged for ISK.
